Partner With Me

About a year ago I started feeling the need to find a job.  I'm not really sure what it was that prompted the feeling.  Maybe it was because there were some things I wanted to get that didn't really fit in our family budget.  Maybe it was because my kids were growing up and almost all of them were in school and I wanted a new focus.  I'm not really sure what it was - it's probably a feeling a lot of stay-at-home-moms feel when the kids are no longer home.

The thing of it was, I didn't want a typical job.  I didn't want to be at the mercy of someone who didn't know my family, the needs of my kids, and, quite frankly, wouldn't care about what days I might need off because they have a schedule to fill.  I didn't want to have to make sure my schedule would be 'okay' with someone else.

Not long before this I came across Bonnie Donahue's blog.  Not only did she have some really beautiful decorating ideas, she was also talking about Shaklee products.  We started trying some of the products and loved them!  It wasn't much longer that I learned there was a business opportunity with Shaklee.  I was hesitant, but I went for it!

Buy partnering with Shaklee and Project Dream Int. (PDI), I'm still able to put my kids on the bus in the morning and be home from them when they get off the bus each afternoon.  I can take my daughter to school late when she needs more time for her body to feel better without worrying about what my boss thinks or missing meetings.  I'm able to keep doing all the things I was doing for my family, but now I work part-time, from home and get paid.

Basically, I have the freedom to work the hours I want to work, when I want to work them.  I can even work just about anywhere.  I've worked many hours at the park, in the backyard and even some by the pool.  All while my kids played.

I have a great support system full of people who are ready to help lift me up on tough days, give me a hand when I need help, and cheer me on each time I accomplish something new.

I'm able to grow and learn.  Growth opportunities are spectacular and only limited by me - both in business and my personal life.  Any position I want to work toward and earn are available to me.  I've been able to learn new things about myself and grow as an individual, too.  However, I still get to be the full-time, stay-at-home mom I always wanted to be.

I'm part of a wonderful group working to help improve people's health and overall life by sharing Shaklee.  It's a great community of support and we have a lot of fun while working.
